Chicago Skyline, Chicago IL
I happened to be up for a sunrise and figured I try my luck shooting the sunrise on Lake Michigan. The sunrise was way too cloudy, but it made for some nice blue hour light over the city. So I changed my composition and took a few skyline photos. I think I would really enjoy shooting cityscapes in a big city like Chicago if I ever live in one.
This is a single 30 second exposure processed in Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 4.
Urgent! I’m in second place! I’ve entered my first photo contest at the Texas Forest Trail Region Facebook page. One of the awards is the fan favorite voting contest, which comes with a $100.00 award. If you smuggers can help me win I’ll donate the $100.00 to the National Parks. If you don’t mind “liking” the Texas Forest Trail Region facebook page, please vote for my “Warm Grass Sunset” photo here. You have to actually “vote” by clicking the vote button, you can’t simply “like” or “share.” You can vote each day through April 26th and after you’ve voted once it just gets easier the second time around! Right now I’m behind by a few votes, so every vote counts. So please vote! THANKS!
Critiques are always welcome.
