The light looks perfect, Paul. Despite the direct sunlight there are no harsh shadows and there's actually a softness to the skin.

We talked about shooting outdoor portraits. I love it Paul! Manually diffusing sunlight- brilliant!

I love natural light Paul and think it's a technique worth perfecting - wonderful portrait!

Beautifully captured!!! Excellent color and dof...KP has a difficult time envisioning himself doing something like this...I'm sure if he did attempt it, he would end up dropping some heavy piece of equipment on the model's head...

Beautiful model, pose, red pop on the green bokeh, etc. I love the softness of the lighting but I think I might shoot for a smidge less difference between her shoulder on the left being dark and her upper forehead being light. The light has also caught her eyes very nicely. I see folks at Yates Mill taking outdoor portraits with assistants holding up reflectors all the time. Good skill to learn.
